Guest Room Cleaning (Housekeeping) Intern

Our client is looking for 2 Guest Room Cleaning Interns to join their Housekeeping Department, supporting the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.The role is ideal for detail-oriented, hardworking individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in hotel housekeeping operations, from servicing rooms to maintaining guest privacy and property standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards (making beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, etc.)
2. Replenish room amenities, linens, and supplies as needed
3. Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to the supervisor
4. Ensure guest room security and privacy procedures are followed at all times
5. Assist with public area and corridor cleanliness as assigned
6. Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
7. Support laundry and linen-room duties as required

1. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
2. Physically fit and able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and stand/bend for extended periods
3. Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
4. Trustworthy and respectful of guest privacy and property
5. Basic understanding of housekeeping supplies/equipment is an advantage training provided
6. Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Training & Placement

All candidates will undergo 1 month training and the successful will later be absorbed.
