Telesales Executive

About the role

Our Client is looking for a motivated and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, converting prospects into customers, and maintaining strong client relationships — all through telephone-based outreach. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, resilience, and a passion for hitting targets.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective customers and respond to inbound sales inquiries

Explain product/service features, pricing, and benefits clearly and persuasively

Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs

Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system

Follow up on leads, quotes, and proposals to close sales

Handle customer objections and resolve concerns professionally

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies

Stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings

Requirements

Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a similar sales role (X+ years preferred)

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities

Comfortable working with sales targets and performance metrics

A degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus
