General Worker/Machine Material Feeder

Our Client in manufacturing industry is looking for General Workers / Machine feeders who will be responsible for supporting production operations by feeding raw materials or products into machines, monitoring the production process, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and assisting with general factory duties. The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to follow safety and production procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Feed raw materials, components, or products into production machines according to instructions.
2. Ensure machines have a continuous and adequate supply of materials during production.
3. Monitor machines and production processes for blockages, faults, or irregularities.
4. Remove finished products from machines and place them in the designated areas.
5. Inspect products for visible defects and report quality issues to the supervisor.
6. Assist machine operators with routine production activities.
7. Load, move, sort, and stack materials or finished products as required.
8. Keep machinery, workstations, and production areas clean and organized.
9. Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
10. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
11. Report machine breakdowns, safety hazards, damaged materials, or other problems promptly.
12. Assist with cleaning and basic maintenance of machines as instructed.
13. Maintain good housekeeping and ensure waste materials are disposed of properly.
14. Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
15. Perform other general duties assigned by the supervisor or production manager.

1. Minimum KCSE Certificate.
2. Previous factory, production, warehouse, or machine-feeding experience is an advantage.
3. Ability to follow instructions and production procedures.
4. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
5. Ability to lift and move materials where required.
6. Good attention to detail.
7. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
10. Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
